Your questions, answered
How does telehealth work?
You book online, receive a secure patient-portal login by email, and meet your provider over video from your phone, tablet, or computer. Prescriptions go electronically to your pharmacy, and lab work is ordered at a facility near you. You must be physically located in one of our licensed states at the time of your visit.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit is a conversation, not a conveyor belt. Your provider will review your history, current symptoms, medications, and goals, then build a treatment plan with you — including labs, prescriptions, or referrals where appropriate. Plan for extra time compared to a follow-up visit, and have your medication list and pharmacy details handy.
What weight loss medications do you prescribe?
When medication supports your goals, we prescribe from FDA-approved GLP-1 and GIP medications — injectable or oral — chosen after your evaluation, labs, and history. Same standard every time: real evidence, honest expectations, ongoing monitoring. If medication isn’t the right tool for you, we’ll say that too. Learn more on our Weight Management page.
What if I'm late or miss my appointment?
Life happens — let us know as early as you can through the portal or by phone. Arriving late may shorten your visit, and missed appointments without notice may be subject to a missed-visit fee and need to be rebooked.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel or reschedule through the patient portal. We ask for advance notice so your slot can go to another patient; late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
Can I access my medical records?
Yes. Your visit summaries, lab results, and treatment plans live in your secure patient portal, available to you 24/7. You can also request complete copies of your records at any time — see the Patient Portal for details.
Are services cash-based, or are there subscription plans?
We offer transparent self-pay pricing per visit, and our weight management program is a monthly plan. We can provide a superbill you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
